Cookie policy

In accordance with Spanish Law 34/2002 of 11 July on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, KAWARU informs its users of the use of cookies to improve the service provided through the website https://iaton.cat.

Last updated: 3 November 2026

1. What are cookies?

A cookie is a file that is downloaded to your computer when you access certain web pages. Among other things, cookies allow a website to store and retrieve information about the browsing habits of a user or their device so that, depending on the type of browsing, it can offer a better service through the website.

2. What types of cookies are there and what are they for?

  • First-party cookies: those sent to the user’s terminal from a device or domain managed by the publisher itself and from which the service requested by the user is provided.
  • Third-party cookies: those sent to the user’s terminal from a device or domain not managed by the publisher but by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies.
  • Technical cookies: those that allow the user to browse a website, platform or application and use its different options or services, such as controlling traffic and data communication, identifying the session, accessing restricted areas, remembering the items in an order, completing the purchase of an order, applying to register for or take part in an event, using security features while browsing, storing content for broadcasting video or sound, or sharing content through social networks.
  • Personalisation cookies: those that allow the user to access the service with some general features predefined according to a series of criteria in the user’s terminal, such as the language, the type of browser used to access the service or the regional settings from which it is accessed.
  • Analytics cookies: those that allow whoever is responsible for them to monitor and analyse the behaviour of users of the websites to which they are linked. The information collected through this type of cookie is used to measure the activity of websites, applications or platforms and to build browsing profiles of their users, in order to make improvements based on the analysis of how users use the service.

3. Table of cookies used by this website

The table below summarises the cookies used by this website. It also includes the browser’s local storage keys (localStorage and sessionStorage), which work in a similar way to cookies:

Earlier versions of the website stored analytics identifiers (iaton-metrica-v, iaton-metrica-s and iaton-utm); they are now deleted automatically when you visit the website.

4. No non-essential cookies before you act

The public website sets no cookies and loads no third-party content when you open it. The keys in the table above are technical or personalisation keys that you request by using a feature (changing the language, filling in the application, turning on accessibility, opening the chat or loading the map). That is why we do not show a consent banner.

Cookieless analytics: website analytics are calculated on our server without cookies or any identifier stored in your browser, and do not follow you across other sites. We measure technical data about the visit (pages and sections viewed, clicks, form submissions without their content, language, device type, browser and operating system, approximate screen size, referrer and campaign parameters, scroll depth, active time, performance and technical errors) and approximate location (country, region, province and municipality) estimated from the IP address or the time zone. The IP address is never stored in clear: it is stored encrypted (hashed) with a random value that changes every day, so identifiers can only be linked within the same day. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control, and you can turn analytics off in this browser from the privacy policy.

5. Allowing, blocking or deleting cookies

You can allow, block or delete the cookies installed on your device by configuring the options of the browser installed on your computer.

You can find more information on how to delete or block cookies in your browser here:

If you block the session cookie, you will not be able to access the panel. If you delete the site data, the website will forget your chosen language, the application draft and, if you had turned it on, the accessibility widget and its preferences.

For any questions about our Cookie Policy, please contact: info@iaton.cat

Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block the session cookie, you will not be able to access the panel.
